The Write Songs

The Write Songs is the second series on Radio Reverb which looks at the songs behind the writing process in discussion with their authors. In a spin on the Desert Island Discs ‘chat and play’ formula, writer and academic, Gilly Smith explores with her guests the songs that made their books sing.

The Write Songs: Mondays 10am, repeated the following Saturday at 3pm

Sponsored by City Books

The Write Songs is back on Radio Reverb and as a podcast from November 21 2016. Each week, we meet a different author who chooses eight songs that help them write their books. Here's an example from the last series. https://soundcloud.com/gilly-smith/sets/the-write-songs-on-radio
